Advertising plays a crucial role in branding your products/services.
Infact, your brand perception is largely governed by what you advertise and what sort of message you share with the customers.
Looks like ibibo has taken a porn turn.
Look at the pic on the right:
“Funny SMS Non Veg joke” (I took the screen capture video, if you are wondering what the ad has to do with ibibo – clicking on that ad will take you to ibibo page)
Is that how ibibo wants to position itself? They first started with 1.5 crores ads which failed to give qualitative results, and now funny sms non veg jokes?
Well…

unfortunately many social networks are using the Porn mantra to their advantage. looks like Ibibo is trying to lead the pack..

Hi Ashish, great catch
BTW I dont think porn / selling porn is bad in any way (legal issues apart). If people like sleaze – I wouldnt mind selling it to them and earning loads of money.
The fact about ibibo that has come up often with half baked products is a testimony to the lack of good product / program management there (may seem like a very broad statement – but just look at their products
.
ibibo has almost lost the battle..their blogging platform isn’t worth talking abt.
I hope dwaar turns out to be something good

The said porn might have propped up due to some oversight.Look at the Ibibo pages today. They speak of India and Indians only.Better change your view points. An occasional reference do creep in even now, but they are deleted when notified. They observe a very strict moral principle here.
By the Ibibo to-day you will be proud to be an Indian.
Hope you will not be foolhardy to stick to the old guns.
Best wishes.
Vijay
@Vijay – you mean a co. doesn’t know it’s advertising campaign?
Glad to see your “proud” behavior!
All the best
To understand Ibibo you have to be an Indian.
A few flashes of Porn might have stung you, but that was an experiment only. Now, come and have a look . You will be astoneished what changes Ibibo has introduced.
In the recent days or months have you seen any other site improving so much.
I am sorry that I do not contribute to your ideas. I Love Ibibo and if adopt a detatched position you too will respect it.
