A few observations:

  • Where is MSN India? Doesn’t features in any of the categories! It’s no surprise that MSN India is confused with it’s India strategy and to reinforce that, they have launched MSN Tabloid, a sleazy masala channel!
  • IMHO, Jet airways is probably the worst site (the overall ticket buying process is highly non-intuitive and cumbersome)
  • Where is the best travel site category? best job site category?E-Commerce is too large a category to fit in travel/matrimony/job sites.
  • Sadly, no surprises in these results!

What’s your take? Do you agree with all of the above results?

Jet airways? Indiatimes? and Y! winning user’s choice? What’s the sanity of such awards? All appeasement!

    2. Tarun says:

MSN India is clueless..they need to find a differentiator..and looks like sleaziness is the easiest way. Mayb they should also start a 18+ video sharing channel?

    3. Gaurav says:

“ICICI Bank” wouldn’t have had got my vote. Even though Orkut is popular in India, I think Facebook is much better than Orkut.

    4. Bhola says:

Surprised to know that there is no award for emerging indian languages portals/websites. There are lots of new start-up coming in this area but no one want to acclaim them.
