Guess what – I have the “financial status” to settle in US. As a matter of fact, I am in the US now. I can settle here if I choose to. I have seen India for 21 years and seen US for 4 years. I have traveled to 12 states in the US and have seen enough of it to talk. “US IS NOT EXACTLY LIKE WHAT YOU SEE IN THE MOVIES”. This is what I tell to everyone who asks me about US. My Personal Opinion,

Kashmir – let LOC become Official Border, coz neither Pak or China will let go what part of Kashmir they already have, lets make it official, and end the Terrorist issue / border issue/ Military and the amount spent there. This will also mean that the major difference between India , Pak & China will be cleared.

Talk to China and get Arunachal Cleared as Indian Territory just as we did with Sikkim.

Lets accept the fact that India cannot get into military conflict with China and the entire world has more to gain from china and will not take the risk of going against them.

lets not get EGO in between, lets be practical & do of what is best for India. The amount spent and Relations strained is not worth the 1/4 of Kashmir WHICH WE DONOT CONTROL ANYWAY, instead lets develop what we have with us. Have ties with China to develop Arunachal while being part of India, just like China is working along PAK to develop POK

Actually, Sikkim’s doing pretty well and while there are issues in the NE, do take a look at Tibet and then rethink your assessment, please. Or ask the Bhutanese, for instance, if they’d rather be friends with India or with the Northern neighbours ? The Tibetans are “Chinkis” too but they’ve been more than accepted here. That kinda welcome happens in v v few places on this planet.
