Google/Yahoo/MSN doesn’t recognizes Smileys

Type any of the smiley symbols (:), :-( etc..) in Google search box and sadly, you don’t get any search result.
Same with Yahoo/Microsoft.

But Ask.com scores an edge over these search engines.
Ask.com, apart from displaying the meaning of the symbol, also has got good collection of articles on IM smileys/NetLingo etc..
