Rediff Invests in Eterno Infotech

Rediff has announced an investment in Eterno Infotech, a Bangalore based Mobile application startup.

Started by ex-Nokia employees, Eterno Infotech is in VAS space and contracts it’s products to to handset manufacturer, telecom operators, channel partners, operators, system integrators and online portals.

Eterno has following products:

  • IndiSMS: enables SMS and GPRS-based communication in multiple Indian languages
  • IndiServer: Indian Language Bulk SMS Server
  • IndiMMS : allows mobile users to design creative invitations, greeting cards, wallpapers and a whole lot more in the Indian language of their choice
  • the Music Companion: lets mobile users browse music on their handsets in their preferred Indian language. The user can preview and download music, ring-tones and even mp3 songs by using a simple Indian language-based interface.

Eterno seems very promising and has roped in customers like Nokia, Airtel, Vodafone and Idea.

Rediff earlier invested in Vakow.
