Myntra has raised Series A funding of $5mn – led by NEA-IndoUS Ventures and IDG Ventures with Accel India Venture Fund II (AIVF II).
The Bangalore based startup raised seed fund from Accel India (earlier Erasmic) and Mumbai angels, around a year back and were much ahead of competition in forging partnership (they partnered with communities like ibibo, indyarocks) and lately with Bindaas, the entertainment channel.
The funding will be used for geographical and product portfolio expansion, and hiring of senior management positions.
This funding is surely a validation of online tee and gifting business and do expect some innovation in e-store formats.
Have you purchased t-shirts from Myntra? Any feedbaclkyou would like to share?
Update: Another tee company, eYantra received $3.1mn Series A venture capital funding from Ventureast and Argonaut.

I have purchased t-shirt from them. better Service but quality of t-shirt was not that good
We are an affiliate partner of MYNTRA..
Myntra provided Tee shirts for Barcamp Delhi once .It was good
Congrats! Looks like bubbly days are back..
Congrats to the Myntra team. We had our Hungryzone T-shirts printed by them and were happy with the quality and service. They really make sure they customize the Tees based on client’s requirements.
They sponsored a t-shirt design contest for us and the quality of ‘white’ t-shirts is good. I guess they need some improvement on the black t-shirts.
The service was nice. We are happy with them.
I bought one t-shirt, but not satisfied with the quality of printing as it got faded in two washes only and I can not wear that t-shirt now

My experience with Myntra has been horrid, to say the least.
They don’t deliver on time, don’t keep you updated on the status of your order, and worst of all, don’t make any efforts to hasten delivery!
In short, minimum customer satisfaction, maximum frustration and indefinite delay!!!
Quite a few of my friends share similar experiences.
Another of my friend has been waiting a good 3-months for his 4 T-shirts, which myntra have been unable to deliver due to perennial “STOCK” issues! Still worse is that the customer service team hardly responds to his complaints nowadays!! What a bunch of retards!!!
I guess there are still a whole lot of FOOLS left in this world to invest money in a team of complacent morons, when they’re sure it’s all gonna go down the drain!
