KPCB, Sherpalo Invests $8million in Kotak Urja

KPCB and Sherpalo have invested $8 million in Kotak Urja, a renewable energy company promoted by Kotak family.

Kotak Urja has several products in Photovoltaic and Thermal heating systems.

Quite lately, we have witnessed good number of investments in Cleantech (another cleantech startup D.light Design secured $5.5mn.)- is that another fad?
