Inventus Capital has invested $1mn in InstaHealth, a Bangalore based startup that provides SaaS solution to hospitals (source).

Instahealth is focused on Tier 2 hospitals and cities /towns which have not so far been able to leverage the benefits of the IT revolution – and is started by Wipro veterans (Ramesh Emani was President of Wipro’s Product Engg Business).

Unlike other service providers in this industry, InstaHealth’s target segment is healthcare units of 20 to 200-bed establishments.
