We broke the news few months back, and everybody said it ain’t true. Couple of bloggers ‘personally’ confirmed (and reconfirmed) that no deal has been signed and all we are reporting is incorrect!
But we knew the real story, and the same has now been publicly announced (BS) – Helion Ventures and Charles River Ventures (CRV) have confirmed an investment of $11mn in SMSGupshup.
This investment will enable SMS GupShup to innovate faster and deliver great products to consumers, advertisers and enterprises.
Interestingly, the announcements comes in the wake of Google’s launch of SMS Channel service.
More interestingly, CRV has invested in Twitter too!
