Dimdim, after having raised $6mn from Index Ventures, Nexus India Capital, and Draper Richards has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Zimbra co-founder, Satish Dharmaraj (via)

Dharmaraj says he put his money into Dimdim because its technology complements Zimbra’s. Both offer open source software for different aspects of collaboration.

Looks like, an integration deal will be announced soon.

Given the interest in collaboration space, is this funding a prelude to ’something more’?
