CtrlS, Data Center Startup Raises 250 Cr from PE Funds

CtrlS, a tier IV Datacenter startup (based out of Hyd) has raised Rs. 250 crores from PE funds

CtrlS Data Centers Ltd. is promoted by the Rs. 750 Crore Pioneer Group along with IDBI and Och-Ziff – a global institutional asset management firm.

CtrlS has been incorporated as a 100% subsidiary of the group company to handle the Internet Data Center business in India.

The company has strategic partnership with Oracle and IBM; and their Hyderabad facility can host upto 1,000 racks of servers. The company has firmed up plans to expand to Bangalore (2008); Mumbai (2009), Chennai (2009), New Delhi (2010) and other cities building a capacity to host upto 20,000 racks.

CtrlS is looking to raise more funds via debt route.
