Listen to Music Right from your Gmail account – Dhingana launches Gmail and iGoogle Widgets

Music portal Dhingana has gone social (they also won the best opensocial award from Google) and has launched Gmail and iGoogle widget.

The Gmail widget is neatly done – once enabled, you can view the top playlists/create your own lists from your Gmail page.

In order to enable Gmail widget, hop to settings->Labs, enable ‘Add any gadget by URL’ and add “http://www.dhingana.com/gmail” gadget. (details)

The only caveat to this is that you can’t listen to songs in the app – every click takes you to dhingana page (same with iGoogle widget).

This is an interesting distribution play for Dhingana – email is the most social way to go (after all, email is a sort of the starting page for all of us).
