How not to do ecommerce like BigAdda

BigAdda is in deep trouble (Not All is Well With BigAdda – 80% Inventory Cleared, Call Center Has Been Shutdown). And from the backend, the 'deep shit story' is now showing up on the frontend too.
This is how the homepage looks like (Jan 18th: 3:40 PM)

The thing is that some of these guys will screw up the entire ecommerce concept started by a few good (?) players. So its still too early to call it a bloodbath, but let me tell you that bloodbath is sorta beginning {and will take a deep hit when Amazon launches this quarter *with fresh eyes (and $$s)*}

Complacency Sinha Saahab, Complacency. Add to it the lack of a defining mission and vision, absolutely non sensical VC feeding in some cases (not talking about these guys, talking about the entire eco-system) and a shitty technical framework makes it tough for some of the others who will be given the additional burden of cleaning the mess.

Its a good lesson for me.. and not only for me it might be some thing a serious lesson that new ecommerce guys can go through.. from my mind, its all like thinking big and doing big on platform that has nothing.

No everyone can foray into e-commerce. I guess it's the heart which is not beating in this case. :)
