" You need to be reasonably smart to go into finance or management. You cannot be an idiot and go into management and be successful. I agree with that. But you don't need to be in the top 0.1 percent, which is what you guys are, to do that. That is a waste of your talent. Why is government spending all this money to create engineering and science graduates ? It is not to go and become an accountant for a multinational company.

So what you guys should do is THINK BIG !

Don't settle for a corporate career.You know, you will make lot of money and end up being miserable. You might live in south Mumbai, and your life would be from your apartment to your good car and to your office. It will be a boring life. Instead if you set your sights high, and say I want to invent new technologies , new sources of energy, technologies that save lives , that make fundamental discoveries that make new technologies of tomorrow. These are the things, that the TOP people should be aiming for. Not for kind of mediocre middle level corporate lives.."
