Yahoo India has launched a new kind of search experience that collates contextual information and presents that in a visual form (look at the screenshot below, for “aishwarya rai” query)
The serp collates information from wikipedia, Y! properties (like in.movies), blogs and contextual portals (like cricinfo for sachin tendulkar), Flickr, Answers, Maps etc.
Pretty much goes with Y!’s “open” strategy.
