Whats the whole point of this post, if you cant do a good compilation ?… Just giving out the names of all IITs and IIMs doesnt serve the purpose. Surprised that you didnt include ICICI knowledge park and Trivandrum Incubator in the list (both won the best incubator award last year)…

When it comes to incubators, apart from IIT bombay, IIM-A and IIM-B…none other IITs or IIMs deserve to be in the list…given the lack of initiatives in spite of expertise and facilities.

Well if you are giving info on an incubator database….give a link to this http://www.idisc.net/en/Publication.161.html…thts a much better compilation

The compilers of this list have missed out the Incubator at “National Institute of Design” at Ahmedabad, known as “National Design Business Incubator” http://www.ndbiindia.org/. The guys here are doing a good job and working on physical computing, interaction design and many other design disciplines.

    4. Interesting post, this will help me a lot.

Are there any incubators that are particularly interested in funding education related start ups?

Incubators are not particularly borm oout of IIT’s ot IIM’s even a lay man with enough experience within a domain can become an incubator and I personally feel, the more failures you have, can get you more chances.

    8. Kiran says:

NSTEDB is the official agency that promotes and supports incubators in India. This is part of the Department of Science and Technology.
