Iglooo Lets you Compare Book Prices Online

There are a very few options for one to buy books online in India – and suprisingly, book prices vary enormously across different websites (also a function of your delivery delay).

Iglooo, a Pune based startup has launched a comparison service that enables you to search for a book title/author and compare the same across the online book stores (currently, they source data from Landmarkonthenet, A1Books.co.in, First and Second).

The interface is neatly laid out (focused/no nonsense approach) and one can search by title/author.

I did a quick comparison with Flipkart and have mixed results – a few books are priced on the lower side (Igloo will monetize using referrals).

Do give Igloo a spin and share your comments.

Are you sure the Igloo link is correct, it doesn’t take to a working site.

Aplogies – thats iglooo.in (3 Os, quite uncommon!)

There’s an ‘o’ missing in the Iglooo link.

Thanks for featuring us. We also feature results from Crossword in addition to the three stores mentioned above – though Crossword does have surprisingly little titles available online.

I like the minimalist design. Gets the job done without the clutter.

Are there anymore such sites for Indian bookstores?

      Hi vikas ,

I went to your website . There is no advanced search option . I know amazon also doesn have it but they somehow have extraordinary search engine . You should have it as an option like a1books , first and second .com etc.
