The IIMs are not eligible to participate in these rankings as they’re not internationally accredited by a body such as the AACSB, Amba or Equis according to http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/8091207c-e8de-11dd-a4d0-0000779fd2ac,dwp_uuid=3d473b3c-dda6-11dd-930e-000077b07658.html.

IIMs are not eligible since they do not qualify as ‘MBAs’ under the criteria used by FT as they also admit fresh graduates. IIMs can approach FT to rank the 1 year PGP X program where work ex is compulsory but these programs become eligible only after 3 batches graduate as the survey requires historical salary data and alumni responses but again its not their flagship program

Thankyou Abhishek & Arjun for solving the IIM not being on the list mystry. When i saw this list I too was perplexed as to how ISB is ranked higher than IIM. Wonder, where the IIMs would have ranked? A friend said that a few years back the list used to include IIMs but now they no longer do.
