Bangalore Bomb Blast

People:

There are ~8 bomb blasts reported so far. Since telco networks are jammed, please use this twitter id to share your status (so that your near and dear ones can know your well being).Or else, use spy to track the bangalore news across social media.

Word of advice: if you are in your office, stay there. Please do not add to the traffic jam/chaos by leaving for home right now!

Aside, couldn’t help talking about the so-called pageview generation game (in the name of citizen reporting) by media:

If you are in Bengaluru, here’s your chance to play citizen reporter, by telling to us what you see around you, and sending us your photographs and videos of the terror attack. – Rediff

Crazy!

On a damn serious note - have you ever imagined the sentiments/emotions of those cops who check bombs, i.e. whether they are live/fused or not?
While most of us are in a hurry to reach our home, these cops (who too have a family) will have to stay late and go ‘beyond the call of duty‘ !

A thankless job!

So the head monger comes haunting again in town. Superficially it seems like a rehearsal for some future, much graver attack. This very time may be utilized by them for observing the investigation and prevention procedure implemented by our police. But a second undeniable possibility is of presence of a political hand, owing to the present ruling party being the BJP, the congress or its allies, foreseeing the elections, might have attempted this misadventure to blacken the track record of government. This can be doubted by the crudeness of the explosives, absence of nearly nil intelligence, and choice of places where no surveillance exists and negligible crowd but yet, places still public enough to create panic and mistrust on police and securities subsequently on the government. From a long time opposition like Devegowda and others are targeting appointment of shankar bidari in b’lore which signifies the chief minister’s communal politics. Again they are making mistakes of forming theories against SIMI or in general against Muslims also fuelled by a fact that blast day being a Friday.

Bangalore in general is being packed up with so many people from so many places it is impossible to know what the person next door is doing and such atmosphere is favored by many extremists. It is still good time for our police to upgrade itself on this front lest the day is not faraway as if in Mumbai. But our leaders are still busy counting votes, buying MPs, appeasing minorities, accusing each other etc. take for example the incident that day in the parliament, producing hefty sums as ‘evidence’ by our celebrated leaders. But still neither our police or Income Tax or any other responsible organization failed to take any action against those MPs. In my view just possession of such money that too for a considerable amount of time is an offence and a thorough investigation must have been done on the spot. Our media just sensationalized the news asked stupid questions to the politicians and added to the drama effect.

Investigation can be made by checking where these explosives came from. Before planting bombs where they conducted TEST within Karnataka. Coz no one can make mistake of preparing bomb without knowing explosives technology. Scanning through recent information or reports of such terrorists making/testing bombs

I agree with vivek hebbar…seems like it could be preliminary attack for which the culprits are assessing the police response in order to formulate another, greater attack. Being the IT Center of India, I imagine IT firms will be reducing their presence given the instability.

As i had predicted earlier the attacks have taken place. but this time, sadly it has come away with more casualities. i feel more insecure and an undescribeable gloom has fallen over me just imagining the ordeal the near and dear ones of victims have to go through. my personal opinion says that command of democracy over the security front has miserably failed. it is interesting to note that states with BJP rule are being in the fire line. it was Jaipur some months ago, now Karnataka, and today Gujrat. this suggests some vague political hand assisting or triggering with motives of creating communal unrest which is an ideal platform for further schemings. i shall resume this later…
