From a social point of view, kids would have to go to school anyway. They need to play and interact in real-world.
But I am more thinking of table, which are more like docking stations: just plug in your own ereader and take it out after school is finished!

Thinking a little further out of the box, why would they need to go to school at all? Schools were required because good teachers were few and they could only be in one place at a time. Now they can be in thousands of places simultaneously :)

I really hope that the very basis of currently rotten education system - school - will disappear and be replaced by system where learners will be able to chose what they learn and who they learn it from and if required they would be able to have a third party certify the level of their competence in a particular subject.

lol... the future generation education might be that only. They can study on the desk and copy the data to there ereader.. and then do home work at home and come to school and copy the homework to the epaper desks through wifi... and through a embedded projector teacher will see the home works directly on board.

is this what future education going to be???

Thanks & Regards

How cool would it be that if children would just need to take a ebook reader/writer to school instead of the heavy bag!
