Opening the advertiser channel@pluggd.in

Finally, I have decided to open up the advertiser channel @ pluggd.in.

Here are the details:

3 125*125 ads on the right side of the site (sidebars)
Since the site is all about startups/products, I would like to keep the ads “contextually relevant”, i.e. preferably startups/indian products ads, but am open to suggestions.

In order to accommodate the sponsored section, I might have to change the site theme style, but the overall sections (and placeholders) will remain the same.

Interesting suggestion Vikas..Let me work on that. I agree there are certain posts/announcements which just cant make it to the normal posts. An editorial section like that will surely help startups in announcing their new developments..

Instead of the same old display ads, why not open up a sponsored editorial section in your side bar. There are a lot of startups who want to make announcements which are not big enough to warrant a full post. This provides editorial that's targeted to your users and if one of the visiting bloggers finds its worthwhile, they could blog it themselves.

Felicitation Ashish. I am looking fwd and want sexy theme, Ashish. Its delighted to see how you are moving and all the plugs [incldg me ;)] will be full forced with pluggd.in.

Please dont display Matrimonial, ICICI, Naukri, Bigadaa Ads etc which we often see on Indian blog/sites as we all [i expect] fed up with those.

We want innovative ads.

Hey Raseel - I will share the pageview details..thru' mail or public as well maybe end of every month..
@Rishi - blogads seems to be a nice option, but I really want to have the focus on Indian products/startup ads. TLA is anti-google, so can't really go with them:)

Hey Ashish, firstly congrats on finally kicking out the advertiser channel. I was wondering when you would do this.
Now, I am already sold to pluggd.in, as you already know and have RSSed it up and all, but for the sake of advertisers do you have some kind of stats on Page visits, etc. of pluggd.in or is this info available to interested parties on private email ?
