3G Auction on January 14th, BSNL 3G in Bangalore
Government has announced the 3G auction dates and after much iteration, Jan 14th is the chosen date.
The auction will be done in four stages – invitation of bid, pre-qualification, auction and grant of spectrum and the pre-bid conference will be held on November 16 (and mock auction on Jan 11-12).
The auction is expected to garner revenue in the range of Rs. 30,000 crores.
BSNL 3G to be Launched in Bangalore
BSNL will launch it’s 3G service in Karnataka by mid-November and overall, the company claims to have 70,000 3G subscribers.
